Inhale, Exhale, Run is a yoga, running and wellness website intended to inspire you on and off the mat, and on and off the trails (or roads).
Brynn Cunningham first came to yoga as a runner at age 18 and fell in love with the practice.
Brynn received her 230-hour yoga instructor certification from the world-famous Asheville Yoga Center (AYC) in North Carolina in 2015 and began teaching prior to that in 2009. She has studied and been a regular practitioner of Ashtanga, Anusara, Bikram, hot power yoga, yin yoga, vinyasa, kundalini and more. Brynn was a regular student of Yogi Wade, the former Ohiopyle Power Yoga teacher, who taught her to be herself as an instructor, have fun and most importantly to create a supportive environment for every body and level of practitioner.
Her theme-based yoga classes are infused with traditional and modern yoga teachings with elements of strength training, functional and mobility practices and a variety of fitness modalities, set to a curated, fun, positive, feel-good playlist. Challenging and less challenging options, modifications and variations are shared so that each student gets the most out of the practice. A deep focus on breathwork and the mind-body connection are intertwined throughout each class with intention setting and an adequate cooldown and restful, final relaxation (savasana).
Brynn begins each day on her yoga mat and lives by the teaching philosophy that exceptional class preparation and facilitation lies within the teacher's own personal practice. In line with that philosophy, she reads yoga books and articles and listens to yoga podcasts daily to keep her teaching sharp, current and informative.
